MI ARTE PRODUCTIONS (“Me-are-teh”, Spanish for My Art) was established in 2022. Its Chief Executive Officer is Lucy Acevedo Gest and is based in Santa Monica, California. MI ARTE is engaged in the business of creating and making educational, fun and entertaining card games that promote exceptional world cultures and languages. Ms. Gest is also the creative designer and creator of these creations. It is her wish that by playing and learning about her games’ contents, it might promote intercultural understanding, peace and friendship amongst people.  

So far, she has produced card games for the following cultures: American, African American, Italian, French, Jewish and Mexican. She is determined to try to translate many into several other languages. Afterall, she’s quadrilingual. Five card games are now available on Amazon and others are forthcoming.  This project has enabled her to appreciate all that makes us different and also all that makes us the same. And, she’s also discovered that we’re more alike than not.  She has personal experience in this regard given her Mexican-American heritage which has enabled her to interact with and appreciate so many international cultures. She’s a veritable Culture  Chameleon!

And her eventual goal is to make her art (Mi Arte/My Art), Tu Arte (Your Art)!
